Here is the preview for the upcoming Doctor Who episode The Hungry Earth (Season 5 Episode 08), which will air on Saturday, 22 May at 18.15 BST on BBC One.
Synopsis:
It’s 2015 and the most ambitious drilling project in history has reached deeper beneath the Earth’s crust than man has ever gone before – but now the ground itself is fighting back. And when the Doctor, Amy and Rory arrive in a tiny mining village it’s not long before they find themselves plunged into a battle against a deadly danger from a bygone age.
This episode is the first of a 2-part story (the second part will be Cold Blood, S5E09).
