My first experiment was something I failed to do in phpBB: removing the stupid blank areas around the forum (in FluxBB, this represents a total of 60 wasted pixels in width x 40 px in heigth, ie a whopping 2400px2!). But hopefully, FluxBB makes it easy to deal with this problem (NB: I used FluxBB 1.3 dev rev 668):

1. Open style/Oxygen/Oxygen.css

2. Find:

.brd {
padding: 20px 30px;
}

And comment it or remove it.

3. Save and upload the file. Problem solved :)
