How to check hard drive in Linux

This is becoming a list of linux commands 😀
So, to check a filesystem for errors, just use “fsck” (“fsck –help” to get help, “man fsck” for the manual).

Bonus ;):
Used disk space: du (see here and here)
Free disk space: df (see here)
