Adobe just released (or at least I just noticed they released) a new version update of Flash, version 10.3.183.7. At the same time they totally made a mess of the download page: they now suggest to get a bundle with either McAfee or Chrome (depending on the browser you use), and either way they force you to grab an online installer (i.e. the installer is basically empty and retrieves installation files from internet at runtime – pretty suckish for an installation on a cumputer with no internet connection, and a bit stupid considering the offline installer isn’t that big in the first place and the online installer isn’t that small, too).
Anyway, I managed to find direct links to the latest version of the offline installers:
- here’s the one for all browsers but MSIE (install_flash_player.exe)
- and here’s the one for MSIE (install_flash_player_ax.exe)
